It’s rarely ever a question of if things change, but rather when. Change is continuous and always right around the corner. When the unexpected happens, how do you adapt?

Design thinking is a problem solving approach to dealing with change. The five phases of design thinking (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test) help you develop an iterative mindset and achieve a state of continuous improvement.

Week 4) Creative Problem Solving with JTBD

In the “Jobs To Be Done” theory, your stakeholders “hire” you to accomplish a goal. A business “hires” a marketing tool to generate more revenue. Through an outcome driven approach, you can broaden your view of potential solutions (How else can you drive revenue generation?). This framework allows you to reframe key problems as opportunities for organizational success.

Develop a top down approach to project management through futures & foresight thinking.

Futures & foresight thinking are mental models and possible stories of the future. How do you take possible environmental changes into account when planning for the long term? How do you get from point A to point B? Use the future to change the present and embed long term thinking into today’s action plan.
